MEM-TEK includes three laboratories dedicated to membrane production and development. In Laboratory 1, both lab-scale and pilot-scale flat sheet membrane production can be carried out, while in Laboratory 2, pilot-scale hollow fiber membrane production takes place. Additionally, Laboratory 1 is equipped with a pilot-scale thin-film composite coating machine for the production of nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes. In Laboratory 3, both pilot-scale and lab-scale electrospinning devices are available, and research focuses on the production of membrane filters from nanofibers.
