She was born in 1987 in Gebze, Kocaeli. She graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of Chemistry in 2010. She completed her master’s degree in 2015 in the Environmental Engineering program at Gebze Institute of Technology. During her master’s studies, she conducted research for one semester at TU Braunschweig, Institute for Ecological and Sustainable Chemistry.

She earned her Ph.D. in the Environmental Engineering Program at Gebze Technical University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bülent Keskinler, with Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu as co-supervisor in 2023.

Since 2015, she has been working as a researcher at MEMTEK Research Center, and since 2019, she has also been serving as an academic at the Department of Environmental Engineering, ITU.

Her research interests include: Conductive Membrane Production, Electrodialysis, Electro-Membrane Processes, Electrochemical Treatment Technologies
