Born in Istanbul in 1989, she graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Environmental Engineering in 2015. In 2018, she successfully completed her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, and Management at ITU. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in the same program under the supervision of Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu.

As part of her doctoral research, she focuses on lactonase enzyme production, biocatalytic membrane production, and biofouling. She has been working as a researcher at MEMTEK since 2015 and also serves as a research assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering at ITU.
