He was born in 1989 in Kdz. Ereğli. He graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering in 2011. In 2014, he completed his master’s degree at Istanbul Technical University. In 2021, he obtained his Ph.D. from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering.

Since 2012, he has been working as a researcher at the Prof. Dr. Dincer Topacik National Membrane Technologies Application and Research Center (MEMTEK), and since 2024, he has been serving as the Deputy Director. Between 2014 and 2021, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. From 2023 to 2024, he was a visiting researcher at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Since 2021, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.
