Muhammed Furkan Aras was born in Hatay in 1991. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University in 2018. In 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, where he conducted research on anaerobic membrane bioreactors. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and carrying out research at the Prof. Dr. Dinçer Topacık National Membrane Technologies Application and Research Center (MEMTEK).

His research focuses on the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), forward osmosis technologies, hydrogels, and controlled-release fertilizers.
