She was born in Ankara in 1990. She graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Environmental Engineering in 2012. She completed her master’s degree at Istanbul University in 2015. In 2023, she completed her doctorate in ITU Environmental Engineering department. Prof since 2015 dr Dincer Topacık works as a researcher at National Membrane Technologies Application and Research Center (MEMTEK). She worked as a Research Assistant at Düzce University Environmental Engineering Department in 204, at Istanbul University Environmental Engineering Department in 2015, and at ITU Environmental Engineering Department between 2016-2022. She was a visiting researcher at Duke University between 2021-2023. She has been working as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering since 2024.
